People of WalMart
I love Wal-Mart. It’s a killer of the mom & pop and a corporate bogeyman, I know. But it’s open all night long, they have absolutely everything and for my money, there’s just no better place in the world for the study of human nature in its various forms.
From the pair of giggling hotties in health & beauty, to the 400 pound woman in the size small Hooter’s shirt to the transvestite arguing with the store clerk about restroom policy, it’s just a wall-to-wall Circus of Humans. With bonus freaks in the parking lot.
Mind you, I’ve seen all of those things at my local Wal-Mart but I’ve never been alert enough to snap pictures. Fortunately, others are just so astute and the result is a really amazing website with pics from Wal-Marts all over the country.
Go ahead and look. You don’t have to buy anything friend, but indulge your will for the weird.

and look…there’s a kid in the cart: this guy reproduced himself and is teaching his fashion tips to the young and innocent.

Thank you for infecting cyberspace with your twisted wit! As a former Minot-ite, I’ve missed your Sun Journal-ism and hilarious features. Thank God Al Gore invented the internet! And most of all, THANK YOU WALMART for bringing all of us together!

I noticed you did a story about peopleofwalmart.com. Perhaps you might be interested in doing a follow up about People of Public Transit.

The public bus and subway systems are littered with amazing photo opportunities. Many of us have been sitting alone witnessing something amazing and only wishing we could share the experience with our friends. Well now you can!
Thank you,
