I confess to watching baseball but I have a lot of trouble sympathizing with an injury, a misfortune, a long season, and paparazzi troubles when I realize the salary that guy is getting standing out there on the field, not even having to move more than a few times an inning.

My loyalty is repaid by none from the players who will abandon a team for a better contract anywhere else. When Manni left right behind many others,I wished I had the wind for a loooooooong looooong poisonous dart gun.

When famous sports figures a few years back protested that they were professional players and not expected to be role models, I thought- "for that money you'll be any damned thing we want, you arrogant sunsabitches"
